LADY LUCK LANA RAE is one of British wrestling’s brightest rising stars. Known as ‘The Legs of Pro Wrestling’, she’s turning heads with her throwback charisma and unshakeable self-belief. Visually striking and driven by a deep passion for the women who paved the way, Lana Rae is chasing greatness – with her sights firmly set on WWE.

After overcoming a serious injury and surgery, she’s returned to the scene with even more fire, now also making waves as the valet for The Blockbusters. Her blend of old-school inspiration and modern-day ambition sets her apart as one to watch in 2025.

In Wrestling Life episode 48, Lana Rae joins Ben Veal to reflect on her wrestling journey so far and her dreams for the future, including:

  • Why the Diva Search era remains her favourite and why it deserves more respect

  • Modelling her persona on Candice Michelle and the influence of Stacy Keibler

  • How her height became a superpower, not a setback

  • Juggling wrestling school with work and life

  • The injury that threatened her career and the surgery that followed

Lana Rae on Why the Divas Era Still Matters

The Diva Search doesn’t always get the credit it deserves, but Lana Rae believes it should. In her own words, it was the spark that lit her passion for wrestling.

“I still just love those five-minute matches. Although it makes me sad – and I think these women could have done so much more if they had this time and opportunity – I still love those five-minute matches because they went out there, they told an amazing story. You know exactly who’s heel and who’s babyface. They had character moments in there.

“The charisma women’s wrestlers had was insane, next level, because they had to go out there and be, ‘You’re only gonna see me for two minutes, I need to get over.’ That’s what made me fall in love with wrestling. These women went out there, did it in such a short time-span and told such an amazing story.

“I love the way the women’s evolution has gone though. I cried when we had the women’s Royal Rumble because I’ve always wanted one for the women.”

Lana Rae on How WWE Diva Candice Michelle Inspired Her

For Lana Rae, Candice Michelle was more than a Diva, she was a blueprint for how to evolve, connect, and command attention.

“As a heel I thought she was just amazing. She was a complete, real ‘Mean Girl’ and I think as a heel you really need to do that. Then when she became a babyface she was just a great babyface. She was fun, she was still sexy and everything, but she also overcame that Diva Search image that I think still to this day a lot of women from the Diva Search are… it’s like, ‘Oh, they only got into it because of the Diva Search, they were models, then they became wrestlers,’ and I’m like, ‘Do you know how hard it is to be a wrestler?’

“To go from something, get thrown into a business and instantly put on TV in front of millions and millions of people, is really difficult. So for her to do all that is, to be honest, really incredible.”

Lana Rae on Teaming With The Blockbusters

Forced to step away from in-ring action during recovery, Lana Rae didn’t let the setback stop her from breaking into the business. A new role as a valet brought fresh opportunities – and a dynamic alliance with Jordan Sparkes and Toby St. John.

“They’ve been wanting me to work with them for a while. Last year was when they asked me to work with them.

“I bit the bullet in January. I was like, ‘You know what, I really wanna do this, I wanna do something in wrestling because at the moment I can’t wrestle, I’m not going to be able to be in the ring per se.’ So I just jumped on the chance to be a valet.

“All my favourites have always started out as valets, or they’ve not gone straight into the ring… so I was like, ‘Yes, let’s go!’ The goal with it was to be very MNM.”

Lana Rae on Stacy Keibler Giving Her Confidence

Lana Rae’s nickname, ‘The Legs of Pro Wrestling’, isn’t just a branding decision – it’s a tribute to the woman who helped her find confidence in herself: Stacy Keibler.

“She’s one of my all-time favourites. I absolutely adore her. When she got inducted into the Hall of Fame I cried again. It [her speech] was brilliant, and she just looked – oh, she hasn’t aged – she looked stunning as well.

“She also helped me with my confidence of being that tall, because, you know, she was super tall. She’s like the tallest woman on the roster. For me, being tall as a woman can be quite daunting, ’cause you will be taller than most guys. If you wear heels, you’ll be the tallest in the room.

“Whereas Stacy would go out there and she was like, ‘Do you know what? I’m all legs.’ Her entrance was just all about her legs, and I was like, ‘Maybe… maybe there’s something here.’”

For now, Lana Rae is one third of The Total Package – a flashy, throwback heel faction that’s just getting started. But make no mistake: her eyes are firmly fixed on a WWE future. With her undeniable charisma, love for the Divas era, and a desire to bring that spirit back for a new generation, Lana Rae might just be the next great British success story in women’s wrestling.
